Firearms

Four words: Shall Not Be Infringed.

Most gun owners can repeat the US Constitution’s 2nd Amendment verbatim and can even dissect the language of the time to explain that the founders intended it to be the individual’s right and restricts government.

What is in no need of clarification is the New Hampshire State Constitution:

All persons have the right to keep and bear arms in defense of themselves, their families, their property and the state.

New Hampshire Constitution Pt. I, Art. 2-a

I like this one a lot more.

I wholeheartedly believe the right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental human right, as it is required to protect one’s life, liberty, and property. I will oppose any efforts to infringe on this right, and will actively pursue measures to restrict State and Federal bodies from enforcing laws that violate this right.
